JMM was such a terrible cad and a bounder – but we can’t help who we fall in love with, can we? P.S Uncommon Arrangements is such a brilliant book, like a literary soap opera.
The cartoon is brilliant! Would you allow us to post it on the Katherine Mansfield Society website in our resources section? http://www.katherinemansfieldsociety.org/ And also perhaps in our next newsletter out in April? Thank you! Our members would love this!
I agree with Gerri Kimber that this is a terrific illustration of Katherine Mansfield’s brief life. You must have done some research to know the facts or did you garner it all from reading “Uncommon Arrangements,” a fabulous book.
There’s only one thing I would correct and that is that KM was running up the staircase not down when she hemorrhaged.
May I put your KM illustrated bio on my website?
I just published a book entitled “In Pursuit . . . the Katherine Mansfield Story Retold” and your cartoon is a delight for someone who spent years researching KM’s life and John Murry’s and Ida’s and how you managed to put it all in a nutshell!
Thanks. You are one talented lady or guy. KM would have liked this too.
